Services include scheduled program transportation, community outings, family reunification trips, reentry transportation, special events, and longer-distance assignments throughout California.
Role Description
Relwork Transportation is seeking dependable and professional drivers for our Fire Camp Family Reunification and Ranch transportation programs. Drivers transport individuals and families from locations throughout Southern California to scheduled Fire Camp and Ranch destinations and return passengers safely following program activities.
Assignments may include local and long-distance travel, early morning departures, evenings, weekends, and multi-day trips.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company passenger vans and assigned vehicles
- Pick up and transport passengers according to scheduled routes
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding, luggage, and personal belongings when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Follow company safety procedures and transportation policies
- Communicate with dispatch and program staff throughout assignments
- Complete required trip documentation
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness during assignments
Qualifications
- Clean and acceptable driving record
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable driving passenger vans and traveling long distances
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and multi-day trips
- Ability to interact respectfully with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds
- Previous passenger transportation experience preferred but not required
Relwork Transportation offers permanent employee positions as well as separate independent contractor opportunities depending on available assignments.
Current assignments include Fire Camp Family Reunification and Ranch transportation programs.
