• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders
• Maintain motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
• Navigate by reading maps and locating addresses within designated delivery area; handle adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F and above in some areas, with sudden changes in temperature both in the work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces and tools up to 500°F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Sensory demands: use of hearing on the telephone, near and mid‑range vision for tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Temperaments:
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Standing:
Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in food process areas. Height of work surfaces is 36–48 inches. Walking is generally for short distances and short durations. Delivery personnel must travel between the store and the vehicle, and from the vehicle to the customer’s location.

Sitting:
Paperwork normally completed on a desk or table.

Lifting:
Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds weekly, using hand truck. Carrying:
Large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough, etc. Driving:
Deliver pizzas within designated area, multiple deliveries per shift. Pushing:
Move trays on dolly requiring up to 7.5‑pound force. Climbing:
Navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance. Stoop/bending:
Forward bending at assembly station, repeated cycles. Crouching/squatting:
Occasionally for stocking shelves and cleaning low areas. Reaching:
Continuously up, down, and forward, up to 72+ inches, to maintain ovens, signs, etc. Downward tasks include scooping cornmeal or washing dishes. Forward reaching when obtaining toppings, cleaning, and answering phones.
