Now hiring for a Material Handler in Los Angeles, CA. The pay is $22.00 – $25.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM AND 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM. Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of warehouse, material handling, inventory control, or logistics experience. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial equipment. Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP or similar software. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to read material numbers, lot numbers, labels, and shipping documentation. Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred.

Job Duties:

Receive, inspect, identify, store, move, stage, and deliver raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility. Verify material numbers, lot numbers, quantities, labels, and documentation before moving inventory. Operate forklifts, Drexel equipment, pallet jacks, drum lifters, scissor lifts, scales, and label printers. Deliver materials to production and packaging areas while supporting on-time operations. Return unused materials to proper storage locations and maintain accurate inventory rotation practices.

Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging and preparing shipments. Complete SAP and inventory transactions for receipts, transfers, returns, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments. Perform cycle counts, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records. Maintain stock labels, storage locations, and material traceability. Support inventory audits and report damaged materials or inventory issues. Safely handle hazardous materials according to established procedures.

Wear required PPE and respiratory protection when necessary. Conduct equipment inspections and report safety concerns immediately. Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas using 5S housekeeping practices. Assist with Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, quality, shipping, and supply chain teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial. Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment. Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
