Growth path from here is Senior Warehouse Associate → Warehouse Lead. What takes 4-5 years elsewhere happens in 1-2 here.

We've been AI-first since December 2023: every pick, putaway, and cycle count is RF-scanned straight into the WMS, and that scan data is what builds the daily production pulls this floor runs on rather than a manual count sheet. Catching the short shipment, the damaged pallet, or the number on the screen that doesn't match what's on the rack is judgment that stays yours.

Role Overview

Puffy, a market-leading, nine-figure D2C brand and Top 5 US mattress brand with over $1 billion in sales, is hiring a Warehouse Associate to own the full cycle of warehouse operations out of our North Hollywood facility, covering receiving, inventory, order fulfillment, staging, and shipping, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.

This role exists to keep accurate product moving at the pace the daily production pull demands, building the count discipline and clean WMS records that let the rest of operations rely on what is on hand without stopping to recount it.

The Problems You'll Own:
Primary:
Accuracy that holds at speed:

The systems are already in place: a WMS and RF scanners track every unit, established SOPs govern bundle assembly and returns reboxing, and the daily production pull sets the quota before the shift starts. What no system does on its own is hold the count when volume climbs — a miscount at receiving, a wrong SKU inside a promo bundle, or a return put back without inspection becomes a customer's problem days later, and by then it's expensive to trace.

The problem is keeping speed and accuracy from trading against each other.

Secondary: A floor whose records can be trusted without a recount:

Cycle counts, putaway records, and the daily materials-moved log are how the rest of operations knows what is actually on hand. When those records are clean and current, a discrepancy gets caught on the dock instead of t gets built here is a floor where the number on the screen and the number on the rack are the same number.

The Career Accelerator

This is not a role where you work a single station and hand the count to someone else to verify. The scope is scarce: very few Warehouse Associates hold simultaneous responsibility for receiving verification, powered equipment operation, order fulfillment, bundle assembly and returns processing, and inventory accuracy, with a direct line to the Warehouse Manager and no layers in between.

Your first 12 months:

operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks across the full floor. Pick, pack, and stage to daily quota and accuracy target. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and raise discrepancies directly. Assemble promo bundles and rebox returned product to established procedure. Own cycle counts, FIFO stock rotation, and putaway accuracy. Run the RF scanning and WMS transactions that feed the daily production pulls.

Shape the future of warehouse operations at Puffy, where the accuracy of this floor is what every shipped order depends on.

What Is In It For You

This isn't just another warehouse role. This is your chance to become a true industry specialist.

1.Own Your Lane of the Floor, End to End
  • You operate powered equipment across receiving, putaway, picking, staging, and truck loading, and you set the sequence that keeps your production pull on quota. Bundle assembly and returns reboxing run through you against established procedure, and inspecting returned product before it goes back on the shelf is part of what you own.
  • You hold the accuracy standard on every count you sign off on, from receiving inspection through cycle counts and FIFO rotation. Discrepancies against a purchase order go directly to the Warehouse Manager, and the record…
