Fulfillment Associate; Seasonal

20–29 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9a to 5p

Between October and January, more of our pieces are given than bought. Nearly everything that leaves our Hollywood fulfillment center in those months is a gift — something someone chose carefully for their mother, their partner, their best friend, and is trusting us to deliver on time and in perfect condition. This role exists to protect that.

We’re looking for one to two Seasonal Fulfillment Associates to join our fulfillment team for the holiday season. You’ll pick, pack, and ship customer orders to Awe’s presentation standard — working with small, valuable, beautifully made things and getting them into the right hands on time.

This is a hands‑on, onsite role with a clear start and end date. October is for learning the work well. November and December are the busiest weeks of our year, and they ask a lot. January is for returns, restocking, and putting the warehouse back together. Across all four months, the thing we care about most is accuracy — a package that arrives correct and beautiful beats one that ships an hour earlier.

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately from digital pick lists, meeting our quality and presentation standards on every package.
• Prepare gift orders — gift packaging, message cards, and ship-to-recipient addresses — with the care they deserve. In our peak months, most orders are gifts.
• Generate labels and process shipments in Ship Station, and hand off to carriers accurately and on schedule.
• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verify against paperwork, and put stock away in the right place.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, restocking, and keeping product organized and findable.
• Process post-holiday returns in January — inspecting returned pieces, restocking, and helping reset the warehouse for the year ahead.
• Support special orders for press, marketing, photoshoots, and gifting, which carry their own timelines and accuracy requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely — scanners, pallet jacks, and packing stations — and help keep the space clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Flag problems early. If something looks wrong — a damaged piece, a mismatched SKU, an address that doesn’t make sense — we want to hear about it before it ships, not after.

• Availability for the full season, October through January — including the weeks around Thanksgiving and the December shipping deadlines. This is the busiest and most important stretch of our year.
• Reliable onsite attendance in Hollywood on a consistent weekly schedule.
• Comfortable on your feet for a full shift, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Genuine attention to detail. You’ve done work where accuracy mattered and mistakes were visible — and you can tell us about a time you caught one.
• A steady, team-oriented approach. December is demanding. We want people who stay careful and communicative when it gets busy.

• Prior fulfillment, warehouse, logistics, or stockroom experience — especially a previous holiday peak season.
• Experience handling jewelry, watches, cosmetics, or other small high-value goods.
• Familiarity with Ship Station, Cin7, or similar warehouse and shipping systems.
• Gift‑wrapping or presentation‑packing experience.
• Interest in coming back for our spring season or moving into a permanent role. Our strongest seasonal associates get the first call.
