Responsibilities

  • Own accuracy and completeness of key Ads revenue accounting areas across Direct IO, Live, and Brand Partnerships/Sponsor ships.
  • Perform month- and quarter-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and customer remediation such as make‑goods, credit memos, and re‑bills.
  • Serve as invoicing and billing specialist: review, distribute, and revise invoices in a timely and accurate manner, and execute manual billing for revenue streams not yet supported by automated systems.
  • Partner with Legal, Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, and Tax to provide revenue‑recognition, invoicing, and accounting guidance.
  • Support implementation and testing of ads finance and billing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Credit, Collections, and Disputes to resolve payment issues and support AR aging and reserve policies.
  • Drive process improvements across Sales Ops, Engineering, Pricing, and our ERP platform (Workday).
Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of accounting experience.
  • Prior experience in an advertising technology, media company, or Ad Agency/Hold Co is highly encouraged.
  • Proven project‑management experience and a demonstrated ability to drive process improvements.
  • Experience with CRM and/or OMS systems.
  • Bonus:
    Experience with Workday Financials or other cloud‑based ERP systems.
  • Bonus:
    Prior experience with revenue recognition, invoicing, billing, cash collection, or cash application workflows.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $140,000 – $210,000
. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health plans, mental‑health support, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, a stock‑option program, disability programs, health‑savings and flexible‑spending accounts, family‑formation benefits, and life and serious‑injury coverage. Paid leave of absence and paid time off accrue 35 days annually for full‑time salaried employees. Salaried employees also receive flexible time off.
