This role provides essential administrative support and exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced medical practice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Check in and check out patients.
- Collect money for patient responsibility portion.
- Coordinate with providers.
- Communicate with billing and authorization department to understand patient’s responsibility.
- Answer and handle phone calls.
- Return voicemails.
- Enter data in a spreadsheet for KPIs.
- Keep the front desk organized and clean.
- Scan documents.
- Apply payments.
- Prepare for next day.
- Check faxes and respond accordingly.
- Schedule patients for future visits.
- Attend team meetings.
- Actively participate in problem‑solving for the department.
- Reconcile data on a daily basis.
