Medical Assistant

Medical Assistants help doctors deliver primary health care and patient care management. Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills, be able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be detailed oriented. Applicants must be able to prioritize and adapt to changing situations in a calm and professional manner. Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Room setup and rooming patients

• Taking vitals and recording patient's medical history

• Communicating with patients and determining medical problems

• Maintaining exam room in a clean and orderly manner for examinations and testing

• Stocking supplies and sterilizing instruments

• Providing assistance as needed in the front office

Experience

Medical Assistant training program degree

One to two years of hands-on medical assisting experience preferred

Experience with EMR is a plus
