Job DescriptionMust meet one of the three below:
Meets all required competencies for RT I, II and III, plus works in all core areas, and meets all Critical Care and NICU requirements. Performs relief charge, bronch/flex as part of regular duties. Must be actively involved as a resource with skills lab/fair and in addition complete a research project and/or poster and presentation every other year, plus Professional Activities equal to eight (8) points required, OR Meets all required competencies for RT I, II and III, plus performs Advanced Interventional bronchoscopy procedures on In-patients and Out-patients, plus Critical Care and/or NICU requirements.

Must be actively involved as a resource with skills lab/fair and in addition complete a research project and/or poster presentation every other year, plus Professional Activities to equal eight (8) points required, OR Meets all required competencies for RT I, II and III, plus regularly works in Advanced Pulmonary Diagnostic Services.

- Must have an AS degree in Respiratory Care from an approved Respiratory Care program that is accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
- Bachelor of Science preferred
- Licensed by the State of California Respiratory Care Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) or Registered by the National Respiratory Care Board as a Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT).
- Must hold and maintain active membership with National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) bi-annually;
- Certified in Neonatal Resuscitation program (NRP) bi-annually.
- Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) bi-annually.
$69.00 - $91.71 USD Hour
Medium Work - Requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing and squatting. (Physical Requirements-United States of America)
