The Partner Test Tech team is responsible for ensuring a high‑quality Netflix experience on smart TVs and set‑top devices. We achieve this by building and maintaining device automation and infrastructure, and we measure our effectiveness by leveraging real‑time metrics and alerts to gain insight.
Who you are- You have experience working with and troubleshooting consumer electronic devices.
- You have strong coding skills in JavaScript / Type Script or Python and experience with automation frameworks.
- You are AI‑native and use it to drive improvements and efficiency.
- You take ownership of projects to drive them with minimal direction and prioritize appropriately.
- You have empathy for the developer experience and seek out areas to improve developer productivity.
- You have implemented CI/CD systems and operated production services.
- You work seamlessly with cross‑functional teams to drive projects.
- You have a growth mindset – you don’t need to know everything, but are eager to learn anything.
- Improve the developer experience and change‑velocity in JavaScript repositories.
- Drive stability across a fleet of in‑house CE devices.
- Gather and analyze metrics in collaboration with internal teams to identify trends and opportunities to improve the testing effort at a lower cost.
- Create and enhance automated tests to validate functionality of the Netflix SDK on a diverse set of devices.
- You have experience with graphics and video streaming.
- You have created automation using Linux or Android.
Compensation for this role ranges from $ to $ annually. You receive a base salary and stock options. Full‑time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off;
full‑time salaried employees have immediate flexible time off.
