Software Engineer - Partner Test Tech

Overview

The Partner Test Tech Team ensures high-quality Netflix experience on smart TVs and set-top devices by building and maintaining device automation and infrastructure.

• Identify and implement solutions to improve testing efficiency for software releases.
• Improve developer experience and change-velocity in JavaScript repositories.
• Drive the shape of the testing pyramid and efficient coding patterns in test automation.
• Ensure diversity and stability across an in-house CE device fleet using data‑driven approaches.
• Gather and analyze metrics with internal teams to identify trends and opportunities for lower‑cost testing.

• Strong coding skills in JavaScript/Type Script or Python with experience in automation frameworks.
• Experience working with consumer electronic devices.

• Experience implementing CI/CD systems and operating production services.
