Our Content & Business Products (CBP) Engineering teams build the products and services to optimize and automate the content creation process including content planning, financing, production, promotion, and distribution. We support Netflix's enterprise needs including Finance, Talent, Tech Support, and Customer Support to ensure smooth operations. Our products enable the entire workflow of content production, from pitch to play, and provide innovative new ways to develop and manage entertainment team's work is critical to supporting the creation of movies and TV series that will thrill the world!
Qualifications
* You have 5+ years of experience crafting resilient, high-scale, low-latency, distributed microservices in production environments.
* Proficient with gRPC, Graph
QL, or RESTful API design and implementation.
* Have recent proficient experience with Java, C#, or other OO programming languages with a solid understanding of OO design principles, concurrency, multi-threading, performance tuning, and observability.
* Have a proven track record in architecting, building, and operating distributed systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and performance.
* Have solid experience in setting technical directions for engineering projects, making architectural decisions, and influencing partner and cross-functional teams.
* Have the ability to proactively describe complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders, driving conversations and decisions through written and/or verbal communication.
* Participate in our on-call rotation and lead the incident reviews.

Creative Workflows
The Media Production Suite (MPS) Creative Workflows team sits at the intersection of filmmaking, large‑scale distributed systems, and generative AI. We build cloud‑native pipelines that transform petabytes of raw camera footage from sets worldwide into secure, high‑quality, color/sound/framing‑accurate deliverables that creatives rely on-typically within hours of shooting (these are the "dailies"). Dailies have traditionally been managed by human operators; we're rethinking that end‑to‑end, using automation and generative AI in every part of the workflow-from intelligent metadata extraction and quality checks to smarter routing, prioritization, and review experiences.
