Client and Partner Technologies (CPT) Team
The CPT team builds tools and services to scale the Netflix application platform to over half a billion devices. Within CPT, the Ecosystem and Operational Insights team is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer with a front‑end focus to revamp our suite of developer productivity tools. This team accelerates the software developer lifecycle by delivering tools that improve feedback loops and enable confident code delivery across Android, iOS, TV, and web platforms.
Responsibilities- Drive new technical solutions across teams, from system design to deployment, and design, build, and refine custom developer tooling from the ground up, providing insights beyond those available in off‑the‑shelf business intelligence dashboards.
- Revamp and update existing tools and services for integration into developer workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, including back‑end services, to ensure smooth operation and high reliability of our tools.
- Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders across Netflix to gather insights, identify opportunities, and define solutions that will scope and shape product decisions.
- Operate in a cross‑functional and dynamic environment, collaborating with colleagues from a variety of technical domains to achieve the common goal of improving developer experiences.
- 7+ years of experience in a software development role.
- Demonstrable technical expertise in evaluating front‑end architectures and user experience flows, formulating well‑reasoned recommendations, and navigating ambiguity through iterative refinement.
- Strong full‑stack development skills with an emphasis on front‑end UI work focused on building scalable, maintainable, and high‑quality developer tools.
- Experience with multiple UI frameworks, deep expertise in React & GraphQL, and strong programming skills in JavaScript, Type Script, Java, and Node.js.
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with designers to translate UX/UI designs into delightful developer experiences.
- Ability to learn and leverage in‑house software frameworks, components, and services to build scalable solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills and a curious, flexible, selfless mindset.
