Full Stack Software Engineer - Partner Test Tech

Overview

The Partner Test Tech team ensures a high‑quality Netflix experience on smart TVs and set‑top devices by building and maintaining device automation and infrastructure. We accelerate the software developer lifecycle by building tools and services that improve feedback loops and enable confident code delivery.

• Identify areas of improvement in our tooling and operational workflows.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate end‑to‑end solutions to drive efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack, including back‑end services, to ensure high availability and reliability.

• 7+ years of experience in a software development role focused on creating and maintaining full‑stack applications.
• Proficient in modern UI frameworks, with React preferred.
• JavaScript / Type Script, Node.js, and building scalable backend systems (Java, Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks).
• AI‑native and use it to drive improvements and efficiency.
• Quality‑minded software engineer with experience driving testing strategies and automation frameworks.
• Versatile specialist who empathizes with fellow developers and helps shape the "why" behind what we build.
• Growth‑minded engineer eager to learn and leverage both in‑house and open‑source frameworks and services.
• Experience in maintaining and improving legacy systems, evaluating tradeoffs between refactoring, rebuilding, and buying solutions.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale projects across functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Technical expertise to critically evaluate front‑end architectures and user experience flows.
