Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for commercial projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure schedules reflect realistic and achievable milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Analyze critical paths, resource allocation, and dependencies to optimize project schedules.
- Prepare and present regular schedule updates, reports, and forecasts to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support land development and acquisition efforts by integrating related activities into the overall project schedule.
- Utilize project controls tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in scheduling processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project scheduling within the commercial sector.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent tools.
- Strong understanding of project controls, construction management, and land development processes.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in project planning.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Certification in project management or scheduling (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) is a plus.
- Create and update project schedules, ensuring all tasks, milestones, and deadlines are accurately reflected.
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams to review progress, address challenges, and adjust schedules as needed.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with land acquisition teams to integrate development timelines into project schedules.
- Ensure all scheduling activities adhere to health and safety standards and best practices.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key schedule metrics and project status.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
