How you’ll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor who excels in this role:
Provides nursing leadership for an assigned shift by supervising and mentoring staff, managing staffing levels based on patient needs and acuity, and ensuring safe, high-quality care.
Assists with direct patient care and problem‑solving as needed, including taking patient assignments.
Supports staff with necessary equipment and resources and integrates evidence‑based practices into clinical protocols.
Addresses patient care concerns, coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers, and contributes to performance improvement initiatives.
Conducts chart audits, supports staff development, and fulfills preceptor requirements. Collaborates with nursing leadership on reports, projects, and regulatory compliance.
Serves as a resource in the use of the EMR system.
What we’re looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor who is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence with these qualifications:
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS is required upon hire.
PALS is required within 3 months of employment.
One year of experience preferred.
