As a Psychiatric LPN, you’ll work alongside registered nurses, providers, and behavioral health professionals to help patients achieve greater stability, safety, and well-being.

Under the clinical guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll assist in delivering nursing and behavioral health care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, medication administration, and patient education. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with physical, psychological, and social assessments and individualized treatment planning
• Administering medications and implementing medical and mental health treatment plans in accordance with provider orders
• Monitoring patients, taking vital signs, providing basic nursing care, and responding to physical and emotional needs
• Documenting nursing encounters, patient responses, complications, and other relevant clinical information
• Collaborating with registered nurses, providers, correctional staff, and other members of the treatment team
• Supporting patient education, activities of daily living, infection control, and a safe, therapeutic environment

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
