Job DescriptionPOSITION AVAILABLE: SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
SAFETY AND SECURITY
Minimum Qualifications- Have a working knowledge of the New Mexico State Statutes
- Have an understanding of the New Mexico Children’s Code.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in dealing with school related policies and sanctions.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license.
- Must be currently certified by the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy or certification by waiver of previous training.
- Ability to complete Field Training and Evaluation Program.
- Ability to complete a bi-annual advance in-service training
- Supervisory Experience preferred.
Salary and Work Year: As established by the Los Lunas Schools current Salary Schedule 189 day contract.
