Senior Ecologist

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Charnwood
to assist with the appointment of a Senior Ecologist
, on a 3-month contract
, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

Rate of Pay: £44.43 - £59.00 per hour

A Senior Ecologist is required to provide specialist ecology advice and support the Council's Facilities & Environment services.

• Provide expert ecology advice across Council services and projects
• Support the delivery of ecological and environmental objectives
• Provide specialist guidance on biodiversity and nature conservation matters
• Advise on ecological requirements, assessments and relevant legislation

• Professional experience in ecology/environmental management
• Strong knowledge of ecology, biodiversity and nature conservation
• Understanding of relevant environmental legislation and guidance
• Ability to provide clear, professional ecological advice

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
