HGV Technician

Location: Loughborough
Salary: £46,215 per annum (£22.22 per hour)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Some flexibility around timings)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Overtime: Available at time and a half

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join the team in Loughborough on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified HGV Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday position, with overtime available at time and a half and the opportunity to gain an HGV driving licence
, supported and funded by the company.

As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of a range of specialist vehicles, including RCVs and cage fitters
.

• Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• Completing inspections and repairs to a high standard
• Working on RCVs and cage fitter vehicles
• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained safely and efficiently
• Carrying out repairs in line with relevant safety and manufacturer standards
• Working as part of an experienced and supportive team

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Vehicle Maintenance or a related discipline
• Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician

• £46,215 per annum
• £22.22 per hour
• Monday to Friday day shift
• 40 hours per week
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Company support to obtain an HGV driving licence
