LOOKING FOR YOUR NEXT MOVE? Are you a qualified MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician looking for a new opportunity with a modern, busy workshop? We're looking for an experienced MOT Tester who is confident carrying out MOT tests alongside servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on a wide variety of vehicles, with the opportunity to develop your technical skills further and earn up to £43,000 OTE, depending on experience.

As an MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, servicing and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out MOT tests to the required standard
- Completing servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Carrying out complex diagnostics and fault finding
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Carrying out repairs identified during inspections
- Advising the Service Team of additional work requiredli>
- Keeping colleagues updated on job progress and completionli>
- Identifying the best method of repairli>
- Working efficiently to agreed repair timesli>
- Prioritising workload in conjunction with the wider Aftersales Teamli>
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer serviceli>
- Working safely and maintaining a clean and professional workshopli>
We're looking for a confident MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician with:
- Valid MOT Tester Licence / Class 4 qualification - ESSENTIAL
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Strong mechanical repair and servicing experience
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
