Experienced Tractor Driver

• Hedge and verge maintenance on public highways
• Grassland management
• Public rights of way upkeep
• General farming
• Agricultural construction projects

What you’ll do:

• Operate machinery such as JCB Fastracs and Fendt Tractors, Excavators, Dumpers, Telehandlers, Compact Tractors, Chainsaws and Mowers
• Maintain equipment and work safely
• Work independently or as part of a team, delivering top-quality results

• Unlimited overtime – Average up to £8,500–£10,000 annually (based on approx. 500 hrs overtime)

We are only interested in inexperienced, highly capable operators who can uphold GTM’s strict performance standards. If you do not have solid, hands‑on machinery experience and the discipline to work to professional standards every day, this role will not be suitable for you.

Roles Available - Skilled Operator

We are recruiting for two positions. Training and progression opportunities within 2 years are available to the right people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of machinery including large tractors, 360 excavators, dumpers, and telehandlers
• Carry out manual labour and rural contracting tasks to a high standard
• Ensure safe, efficient operation of all equipment
• Work independently and follow company procedures
• Deliver excellent service to customers

Requirements:

• Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
• Large tractor driving experience (essential)
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
• Good awareness of health & safety
• Previous experience in a similar rural/contracting role beneficial
