Job Summary

Responsible beginning level work in the performance of financial and operational audits of municipal agencies; and related work as required.

Conduct financial and operational audits of municipal agencies.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university OR a Bachelor's Degree in another field with at least fifteen (15) semester hours of accounting and nine (9) additional hours in economics, accounting, management, or another business‑related course from an accredited college or university.

A valid driver’s license and an automobile for use in this position.

Successful completion of a written exam weighted 100%. Applicants with a valid passing score for Accountant I are exempt from this exam.
