Our manufacturing client is seeking a curious and analytical Senior Accountant temporarily, who may ideally become a permanent team member in the next 6-12 months to collaborate in a dynamic environment with an onsite leadership team to continue building upon accounting experience beyond the role:
Cost Accounting, Inventory & Utilities- Cost accounting processes and supporting schedules
- Inventory accounting and reconciliations
- Inventory roll forwards
- FIFO calculations
- Lower of Cost or Market (LCM) analysis
- Product usage accounting and reporting
- Utility usage, costing, and forecasting
- Utility-related reporting
- Steam profit in inventory calculations
- Cost variance analysis and account reviews
- Related month-end close activities and reporting
- Tenant billing processes and supporting schedules
- Review and allocation of costs billed to tenants
- Utility and other tenant charge calculations
- Research and resolution of billing questions and discrepancies
- Tenant-related reporting and analysis
- Capital project setup and maintenance
- Construction-in-progress (CIP) accounting
- Capitalization reviews and processing
- Capital project accruals
- Fixed asset accounting activities
- Depreciation and amortization support
- Cap Ex reporting
- MRO Cap Ex reporting
- Project accounting reviews and follow-up
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Identification, investigation, and resolution of accounting issues
- Open item tracking and follow-up
- Coordination with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting, billing, project, and reporting questions
