Prepares, sends, and manages monthly and annual invoices for Department’s significant portfolio of third-party contracts. Maintains master summary, files, and documentation of all outside contracts. Creates revenue summary reports by faculty and by contract on a regular and on-demand basis. Assist with Medical Legal accounts including invoicing, reconciliations and collections. Assists with annual budget, monthly and year-end fiscal close.
Responsibilities- Excel proficiency (minimum Intermediate Level) in utilizing advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and complex formulas to analyze financial data, generate reports, and facilitate decision‑making processes
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Solid experience in budget preparation, tracking and financial administration
- Ability to anticipate and meet established deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written and professional communication skills are essential
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential
- Ability to multi‑task, and prioritize work assignments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
- Ability to work both independently and with employees across all levels of the organization
- Manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and visual acuity to read computer monitor
REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or closely related field
Two years of professional experience in accounting, to include working as part of a collaborative financial team using Excel, Microsoft Word, and Intuit Quickbooks
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience
- Working knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to contracting
