ACCOUNTANT

The Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning.

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor financial activity and identify discrepancies or areas requiring further review.
• Ensure accounting records and processes are maintained in accordance with GAAP and applicable company procedures.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal accounting controls and financial procedures.
• Assist Management with financial analysis and information needed to support business decisions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation and records.
• Support external accounting, tax, audit, or financial reporting requirements as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.
• Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is a strong advantage (preferred).

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Experience in a service-based or staffing industry is a plus.
• Previous experience managing internal company finances is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, Net Suite) and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
