Summary
The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator, Academics plays a key role in supporting the academic mission of the School of Architecture and Built Environment by delivering comprehensive academic, programmatic, and administrative support for its programs. This position provides support to the Associate Director of Academics, the Assistant Dean for Academics, the Academics staff, and the Program Directors, and coordinates a broad range of tasks essential to the effective administration of academic programs.
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate curricula, course, and student records; tracking expenses and processing purchases; and providing logistical support for program- and course-related events and activities. By ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely execution across academic operations, the Senior Administrative Program Coordinator contributes to a seamless experience for faculty, students, and staff, and upholds the school’s high standards of excellence.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a diverse array of constituents
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks independently, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite of software, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to proactively identify and complete tasks with minimal direction from manager
- Attention to detail and ability to consider the needs of others when planning
- Proven ability to learn new technology and systems quickly
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Situational awareness and the ability to anticipate needs, recognize potential issues and adapt priorities based on contextual clues and feedback
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 years of administrative experience
Or
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6 years of administrative experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with Canvas, Banner and Concur
- Experience in higher education
