The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator is an administrative position reporting to the Senior Director and Chief of Staff in the Office of the Senior Vice President. The position provides executive-level administrative support for the Office of the Senior Vice President. The position assists with the coordination of high-level executive and Cabinet/Board events, meetings and other special projects. The Senior Administrative Program Coordinator works closely with other departments within Advancement and other departments throughout the university.
Responsibilities- Provide executive-level administrative support to the Office of the Senior Vice President.
- Assist with coordination of high-level executive and Cabinet/Board events, meetings, and other special projects.
- Collaborate with other departments within Advancement and across the university.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple demands and multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to keep projects on task, meeting and exceeding timeline expectations.
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
- High School Diploma and 2 years related/transferable experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.
- Some college and 2 years direct experience OR
- Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years transferable experience.
- Knowledge of university fundraising.
This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 24.
