Service Clerk

Assist the service manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department’s operation within the dealership. General support to location parts and sales departments.

• Maintain payroll spreadsheet with hours/report PTO for service department employees. Submit payroll spreadsheet biweekly for payroll processing.
• Field internal and external customer inquiries to the Service Department.
• Assist Service Manager in his absence with opening work orders as needed.
• Monitor work order process for timely invoicing of work completed.
• Maintain Service Department filing and records.
• Maintain accessories and supplies and prepare replacement orders.
• Process warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up.
• Assist in answering incoming phone calls and directing to the appropriate department.
• Be willing to work occasional Saturdays during Spring planting and Fall harvest seasons.
• Provide back‑up assistance to Accounting Clerk.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management including Sales Admin responsibilities.

• Basic knowledge of accounting practices.
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
• Knowledge of office procedures.
• General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
