Secretary
Secretarial assignments include such duties as office coordination, scheduling meetings, preparing and maintaining office records, reports, and correspondence pertaining to the professional's and/or management staff's area of responsibility.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Answering telephones and responding to inquiries via telephone or email
- Booking meeting rooms, setting up conference calls and taking messages and minutes during meetings
- Performing administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying
- Writing emails, memos and letters
- Implementing and/or developing office procedures and record systems
- Managing databases and file systems
- Ordering and maintaining supplies
- Documenting financial information
- Organizing and distributing messages
- Making and confirming travel arrangements
- Preparing and mailing outgoing correspondence
- Maintaining confidential department files/records
- Performing routine bookkeeping tasks
- Assisting with presentations and reports
Other duties as assigned that are related to the functions of the position.
Education and experience:
Must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency plus three years of clerical experience. Must be able to understand and interpret written and verbal instructions. Must keep accurate, up-to-date written records.

Technological abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in general use of a computer, the use of email as a form of communication, and other job-specific equipment, software, and/or applications.
