Madison Parish Hospital is currently accepting applications for one (1)
Part-time Registration Clerk.
Duties
- Interview patient or family to obtain complete and accurate demographic and insurance information for distribution to appropriate hospital departments. Accurately create the Emergency Department Face Sheet of the patient's medical record, using proper computer codes and procedures. Complete patient registration forms. Correctly input information in the computer, reporting the disposition of all patients including all admissions, discharges, and other occurrences. Answers telephone, copy documents, file paperwork and performs related duties as directed by Supervisor and Department Head.
