Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission Administrative Coordinator
The LMVC is seeking an individual to fill the Administrative Coordinator vacancy in our Licensing Department. Administrative Coordinators are always professional with a good working knowledge of the license requirements for the motor vehicle/recreational product dealers, manufacturers, distributors, as well as the financing of these products and GAP/Vehicle Protection products. Administrative Coordinators are expected to develop or possess effective verbal and written communication skills and work effectively with supervisors, team members, agency personnel, and licensees.

The ability to relay information correctly and appropriately to connect people and ideas. - Following Policies and Procedures:
The ability to comply with policies and procedures of the organization as well as State Civil Service rules, and all applicable federal and state laws.
Two years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
Job Duties:
An example of Job Duties includes, but is not limited to:
Examines application packets submitted (on behalf of both in-state and out-of-state entities) for licensure to ensure compliance with statutory mandates of the LMVC law and the MVSF Act, as well as the requirements of the rules and regulations promulgated under the provisions of the LMVC and the MVSF. Investigating and analyzing data submitted by and/or on behalf of each applicant to determine accuracy, authenticity, statutory compliance, and completeness of factual information to document the determination of eligibility and qualification for licensure.
Investigates, researches, and analyzes areas of responsibility of motor vehicle dealers and recreational product dealers to determine if other dealers have a right of protest pursuant to the statute. Issue the right of protest notices to the dealers of their statutory rights. Setting up a monitoring system for the statutory time frame for protest. If a protest is received, assist in the setting of the formal hearing.
If no protest is received, notify the appropriate parties that no protest has been received, and they may go forward.
Reviews documents to determine eligibility for and, if approved, issues licenses for all LMVC and MVSF applicants to do business in the state of Louisiana. Assist the Investigations Division with special investigations, preparation of reports of fraud, and preparation for administrative hearings in the denial of initial licensure. Advises applicants and/or licensees of the status of the application and/or requests relative to the requisite information for further disposition of the same Position-Specific Details:

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation:
The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
