MRC Global serves the oil and gas industry across the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors as well as the chemical and gas distribution market sectors worldwide. Performs administrative, clerical, and data entry duties to support sales operations. Responsibilities include contributing to the efficient and effective operation of their team or department in order to meet MRC Global objectives, establishing and maintaining relevant files, processing incoming and outgoing mail, answering incoming calls from customers and internal contacts, taking messages, and following up as appropriate.

Also includes performing efficient and accurate data entry using MRC Global-specific software, confirming accuracy of purchases with vendors, assisting with ongoing competitive analysis, and assisting with general office duties and related tasks.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years of experience working in a business office, experience or the ability to learn purchasing systems, RAZOR, and other MRC Global-specific software, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, proficiency with MS Office, and ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Additional qualifications include the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status, ability to read and speak the English language proficiently, and ability to understand and comply with MRC guidelines and expectations.
