Job Description AECOM’s Disaster Recovery Division is seeking Document Specialist to join our team to develop our On-Call Cadre. Placement is not immediate and will occur based on operational need. The cadre is designed to build a roster of qualified candidates for temporary assignments. Document Specialist will be responsible for administrative and operational support to Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Candidates must be willing and available to deploy on short notice, as needed.
The Document Specialists duties include:
- Supports EOC with records management.
- Prepares and maintains a document control system for all forms of documentation.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, scanning, uploading, and maintaining operational program documentation.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure required documentation is received, complete and accurate, before filing.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, SharePoint, and other document management systems.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support within EOC environment.
- Support EOC and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma and 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience supporting large-scale disaster response operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and extended deployments as needed. Extended hours and rapid response may be required during activations.
- Ability to interpret technical data.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this role
