Madison Parish Hospital is currently accepting applications for one (1) Registration Clerk (PRN).
Responsibilities- Interview patient or family to obtain complete and accurate demographic and insurance information for distribution to appropriate hospital departments.
- Accurately create the Emergency Department Face Sheet of the patient’s medical record, using proper computer codes and procedures.
- Complete patient registration forms.
- Correctly input information in the computer, reporting the disposition of all patients including all admissions, discharges, and other occurrences.
- Answer telephone, copy documents, file paperwork and perform related duties as directed by Supervisor and Department Head.
