Timekeeping Coordinator II
The Timekeeping Coordinator II is responsible for accurate and timely processing of employee time and attendance data for Primoris Energy Services in Donaldsonville, LA. This role ensures compliance with company policies, labor laws, and project requirements, playing a crucial part in payroll accuracy and project cost tracking.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and verify timesheets, time cards, and other timekeeping documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
- Enter and maintain employee time and attendance data into the designated timekeeping system.
- Reconcile time discrepancies, investigate missing punches, and resolve timekeeping issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and project management regarding timekeeping policies, procedures, and data requirements.
- Process payroll adjustments, corrections, and special pay requests as needed.
- Generate and distribute timekeeping reports for management, project tracking, and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the training of new employees and supervisors on timekeeping procedures and system usage.
- Maintain accurate and organized timekeeping records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred. - 2-4 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll processing, or a related administrative role, preferably in a construction, energy, or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in timekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
