Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Data Entry Clerk at Rosco Resources in Port Allen, LA. The Data Entry Clerk will play an important role in supporting our billing and administrative operations. Primary responsibilities include entering and processing weekly field tickets, preparing accounts receivable (AR) billing, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with collection efforts on outstanding customer accounts.
Responsibilities- Enter and process weekly field tickets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Review tickets for completeness and accuracy before billing.
- Prepare and process Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices.
- Maintain accurate customer billing records and supporting documentation.
- Track outstanding invoices and assist with collection efforts.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, missing documentation, and past-due balances.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical records.
- Work closely with field personnel and management to resolve ticket or billing discrepancies.
- Assist with general administrative and data entry duties as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
- Meet weekly billing deadlines and ensure information is entered correctly.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in data entry, billing, accounts receivable, or an administrative role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Experience in the construction, trucking, utility, or related industry is a plus.
