Grambling State University is seeking an Administrative Coordinator 3 to provide general office management and clerical support to the University Police Department. AN IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING

Two years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:
- Maintain records of the police department which includes but not limited to reviewing files, maintaining files, compiling data, and distributing reports to various external offices
- Operate and monitor radio transmissions via two-way police radio
- Review and transmit messages to and from GSU law enforcement officers on complaints, crimes in progress and general police communications
- Work special details, participates in the GSUPD Voluntary Wellness Program
- Work as a Communication Officer in their absence and relieves communications officers and operates UPD CAD Computer System
- Work in Parking Management in of the Administrative Coordinator
- Performs payroll duties in the absence of the Executive Assistant to the Chief
- Other duties as assigned
