Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Position Summary
The Distribution Center Coordinator provides administrative support for distribution center operations, serving as a primary point of contact between DC staff and internal business partners, coordinating shipping and receiving documentation, maintaining front office operations, supporting employee engagement activities, and assisting with attendance and facility administrative processes.
Position Responsibilities- Administrative Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact between DC staff and company to resolve issues and concerns from Team Sales, Customer Service, Regional Sales, etc.
- Coordinate with different sales channels to resolve any in-transit shipping inquiries from customers.
- Create shipping paperwork for repetitive shipments leaving weekly.
- Back-up offshore Amazon shipment scheduler (back-up).
- Transmit shipping and receiving paperwork to finance daily.
- Office Responsibilities
- Maintaining a front office presence to answer doors and calls from customers, vendors, and visitors.
- Maintain the office and warehouse break areas ensuring that they are properly stocked and clean.
- Maintain office supply inventory levels.
- Employee Engagement Responsibilities
- Issue and maintain vending machine cards and access cards for all employees, including replacements and access modifications.
- Coordinate building events to drive morale increased in the DC staff (i.e., Birthday recognition, warehouse lunches, etc.).
- Collect and distribute attendance and call out reports from the DC managers to be recorded daily, including early departures, late arrivals, and vacation calendars.
- Highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Strong communicator capable of providing written and verbal updates to internal team members as well as key stakeholders and company leaders.
- Highly Organized and high attention to detail.
- Capable of learning relevant warehouse operations systems, e.g., ERPs, WMSs.
- Good understanding of MS Office Suite software including Excel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
