The Musco Research & Development Team has an opening for a Test Technician in Oskaloosa, IA. If your experience aligns with the qualifications outlined below, we look forward to hearing from you!

• Associate degree in Electronics or related field.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and circuits.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Under General supervision, can perform certain recurring work independently
• Regular verbal and written interaction with team members
• Intermediate level interpretation and analysis of test results
• Able to troubleshoot and rework standard tests
• Advanced understanding of DMM, Oscilloscope, power supplies; understanding of RF measurement techniques and the use of various RF measurement instruments (specifically Spectrum Analyzers, EMI Receivers, Network Analyzers, Power Meters); working knowledge of basic safety practices
• Experience soldering thru-hole and small surface mount components a plus.
• Able to use all standard EMI equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data; able to use test software; able to construct AC/DC circuits; basic MS Office skills
