HomeIQ is a proactive home maintenance service focused on helping homeowners protect and preserve their homes through regular inspections, coordinated maintenance, and ongoing support. Backed by the expertise of Burk’s brokerage and construction teams, we help clients stay ahead of costly repairs and enjoy greater peace of mind.
Primary Responsibilities Field Service & Inspections- Perform scheduled home maintenance inspections and service visits
- Identify maintenance concerns, preventative needs, and service opportunities
- Complete minor repairs and coordinate additional work when needed
- Ensure all work meets HomeIQ quality and safety standards
- Serve as the primary in‑home representative of HomeIQ and build long‑term homeowner relationships
- Lead homeowner conversations that clearly communicate property conditions, maintenance priorities, and the value of proactive care
- Help convert existing relationships, past clients, and warm leads into HomeIQ memberships
- Support outreach efforts with past clients and referral partners as needed
- Identify opportunities for membership renewals, service upgrades, and client referrals
- Coordinate subcontractors and specialty vendors as needed
- Ensure vendor work meets HomeIQ quality standards and client expectations
- Manage scheduling, site access, and communication throughout active work
- Document service visits, findings, and completed work in Job Tread
- Maintain accurate job records, service history, and homeowner notes
- Support smooth communication between field operations and office staff
- Strong background in residential construction, maintenance, or home services
- Experience with inspections, preventative maintenance, or project oversight
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage a schedule
- High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Comfortable using software tools for scheduling, job tracking, and documentation
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to on‑site challenges
- For experience working with high‑end residential clients
- Familiarity with Job Tread or similar project management software
- Existing relationships within the local construction or home service network
