Service Operator (Work Dispatch)
Job SummaryResponsible for maintaining and acting as custodian of departmental records. Acts as a key support in invoicing, time entry, and reporting activities for the department.
Responsibilities- Input departmental invoicing into accounts payable systems.
- Maintain accuracy of all crew employees’ time entry, vacation, and illness activity.
- Generate reports, spreadsheets, and monthly mileage reports.
- Manage office supplies, reconcile corporate purchasing card and set up meetings.
- Assist in all safety activities.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Desired: college or university degree.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and Entergy Corporate applications (DSS, DIS, Indus, Earl, Pearl, VEA, ECOS, Service Suite, AM/FM DFM & Time and Labor). Familiarity with CCS and all company policies and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Willingness to work extended hours, be a self‑starter, and possess high initiative and multitasking ability.
- Must be willing to assume a storm restoration role and travel if necessary.
- Successful completion of the EEI CAB/SASS test.
