C-Care International, part of the healthcare cluster of CIEL Group, is a Mauritian private healthcare group that owns and operates four healthcare facilities in Mauritius, namely C-Care Darné, Wellkin, Grand-Baie and Tamarin, and two hospitals in Uganda, C-Care IHK and IMC. C-Care also owns and manages 22 primary care Clinics and 55 C-Lab collection centres in Mauritius, Uganda, and Madagascar.
C-Care is currently looking for a Project Lead – HR Productivity & Efficiency Lead to be based at C-Care Corporate Office, in Mauritius.
Project Lead – HR Productivity & EfficiencyReporting to the Head of People Performance & Rewards, the selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of the Group People & Continuous Improvement priorities by providing rigorous project management, structured reporting, and a strong lean/simplification mindset. The role ensures that HR and cross-functional initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and in a simple, practical, and scalable manner.
The position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of deep-diving into workflows, identifying bottlenecks, challenging the status quo, and simplifying processes for greater efficiency, compliance, and adoption.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics with CPCIOs, HR COEs, BU HR teams, and functional leads.
- Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, risk registers, and communication plans to ensure disciplined execution.
- Provide structured weekly reporting and monthly Steering Committee updates, ensuring early escalation of risks and issues.
- Collect, analyse, and validate HR and operational data in collaboration with HR Systems & Data Analytics, Finance, and operational teams.
- Benchmark outcomes, identify gaps, and prepare dashboards and implementation reports to support decision‑making.
- Lead Lean/Six Sigma–based reviews to simplify, streamline, and standardise HR and cross-functional processes.
- Support COEs and BU HR Heads in converting redesigned workflows into practical, simple, and scalable SOPs.
- Track adoption of improved processes and monitor performance across Business Units.
- Conduct resource utilisation assessments and support workforce planning, including overtime, absenteeism, and agency trend reviews.
- Coordinate and validate productivity and efficiency gains with Finance.
- Build delivery discipline by coaching project owners and facilitating problem‑solving sessions, sprints, huddles, and capability‑building workshops.
- Engage operational teams through structured communication, training, and mobilisation of improvement champions.
- Drive continuous improvement and ensure sustainability of implemented changes through effective handover.
- Degree in HR, Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) is preferred.
- 5–10 years+ experience in HR transformation, workforce planning, or process improvement.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and deliver measurable results.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Excel/Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong capabilities in Project planning & execution, Lean/simplification mindset, Change management, Stakeholder engagement and influence, Structured problem‑solving and Continuous improvement methodologies.
- Highly structured and detail‑oriented (C‑profile behaviours – DISC).
- Delivery‑focused with strong follow‑through, proactive, accountable, and disciplined.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and propose practical solutions.
- Strong collaboration and coordination abilities.
- Effective communication skills, particularly in fast‑paced environments.
