Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Special Projects Coordinator to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects across various departments. In this role, you will support project planning, execution, and monitoring efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your background in data collection and reporting, and interfacing with the public will support the dynamic and forward-thinking Leadership team of this Greater New Orleans non-profit.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence key projects, support continued excellence in an agency dedicated to serving the community, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement through innovative solutions and effective stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Collect data from various sources, consolidate and report on the same for events conducted by the agency. Assist the Leadership team in other data analysis and reporting as needed.
  • Manage new staff onboarding process by preparing all paperwork necessary for hiring, provide new hires information on policies and procedures, ensure all forms are completed to establish payroll, ensure signatures are collected and documentation for human resource purposes is complete. Provide new hires with information on any drug or background checks that may be required for their position.
  • Conduct all quality improvement surveys of individuals and families who have received our services. Summarize and report the outcomes of the surveys to the Leadership team. Assist the Leadership team on quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with product review and development by proofing and providing any other assistance needed.
  • Assist the Leadership team with additional tasks as they develop.
Demonstrated Experience In:
  • Customer Service;
  • Database use;
  • Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
  • Data collection, Excel data analysis, project scheduling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in HR hiring processes a plus.
