Financial Compliance, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Location: New Orleans
Auditing Position
Highly responsible professional and supervisory auditing work, planning and overseeing audit teams conducting internal control, compliance, efficiency and effectiveness audits, and impact evaluations; and related work as required.
Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of experience in public or private auditing.
Domicile requirements:
Currently waived for application, but new full-time employees must be domiciled in Orleans Parish within 180 days of hire on or after January 1, 2013.
NOTE:
Pay above the minimum for superior qualifications may be granted under Civil Service Commission Rule IV Sec. 2.7 based on a review of the applicant pool, candidate's verified experience, education, and/or possession of related certifications.

Good moral character is required. Disqualification may result from findings of forgery, misrepresentation, or cheating on examinations.
