Lead Product Manager – Unsecured Lending Operations Platform

Product Responsibilities

• Drive product strategy for modernization of Unsecured Lending Operations
• Support transition from the legacy Automated Processing Environment (APE) to a modernized back-office ecosystem
• Define future-state workflows, intelligent orchestration, automated fulfillment, digital enablement, and modern operational platforms
• Deliver product vision, priorities, and strategy while managing risk and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance
• Collaborate with the product manager on overall product vision
• Build relationships with partners and stakeholders and communicate product priorities
• Own and prioritize the product backlog
• Coordinate with other product owners to support the end-user experience
• Define and refine user stories, including business readiness stories, and clarify acceptance criteria
• Ensure known work is added to and transparent in the backlog
• Maintain appropriately linked backlog items from Story to Feature
• Accept user stories after acceptance criteria and definition of done are met
• Resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts
• Communicate continuously with the product manager and delivery teams
• Coordinate with product analysts, delivery coordinators, product owners, and supporting roles
• Manage trade-offs and execute daily backlog prioritization and refinement
• Leverage AI tools to deliver stakeholder value efficiently
• Split complex product features into executable vertical slices
• Support definition of non-functional requirements and technology enablers
• Participate in prioritization and planning, feature refinement, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
• Facilitate syncs with product managers and product owners to verify product health, track escalated risks/issues, and share analytics
• Identify and communicate improvement opportunities for the next planning increment
• Support data conditioning for testing with the delivery team
• Coordinate with product owners and managers on product vision, dependencies, and strategy

• 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Expertise supporting Operations functions, preferably in Credit Card Originations
• Previous Product Owner experience and/or certification
• Experience with Agile practices and frameworks such as Scrum
• Experience with Confluence and Jira
• Experience developing products and services for Origination Operations functions specific to Unsecured Consumer Lending products
• Experience gathering user/business requirements and translating them into features and user stories
• Experience creating, refining, and reviewing user stories
• Experience defining acceptance criteria
• Record leveraging agile practices and data to drive business outcomes
• Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment
• Ability to facilitate discussions and work with ambiguity
• Experience identifying risks and partnering with teams and stakeholders to mitigate them
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively across organizational levels and in a team environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
• 3+ years of Credit Card or Small Business Credit Card operations experience is a plus
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Must adhere to in-office attendance expectations
• Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Demonstrates expertise in Product Management and Agile methodologies, with a focus on Unsecured Lending Operations and Credit Card Originations. Capable of defining workflows, managing product backlogs, and ensuring compliance while driving product strategy and stakeholder engagement.
