Lead Business Accountability Specialist – Consumer Banking & Lending, Risk Governance, Strategy & Enablement

• Lead large-scale initiatives focused on process and control optimization, process improvement, and operational effectiveness, with automation and AI in mind
• Drive change by aligning stakeholders around shared visions, translating complex ideas, navigating organizational complexity, and establishing accountability and execution pathways
• Lead transformation efforts by diagnosing business challenges, redesigning processes, managing use cases, understanding low-cost technology solutions, measuring value, and using AI for analysis and workflow streamlining
• Evaluate third-party operating models and contracts to identify workflow, scalability, and manual-effort improvements
• Lead process redesign for third-party engagement, contracting, monitoring, and reporting
• Manage financial plans and budgets and analyze value propositions for process redesign, automation, and tool usage
• Develop data-driven recommendations to optimize supplier utilization while balancing business, risk, and operational requirements
• Build business cases quantifying financial benefits, implementation costs, and expected ROI
• Support enterprise initiatives aligned with governance and enterprise expectations
• Develop executive communications, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership
• Drive accountability and sustainable outcomes across enterprise-wide initiatives
• Lead complex initiatives mitigating current and emerging business risks
• Assess and design controls, protocols, and risk-mitigation approaches, including sustainability, adherence, reporting, measurement, technology impacts, and monitoring
• Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution and support implementation of solutions and plans
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to identify risks and develop risk-mitigation strategies
• Liaise with external parties to support timely and effective communications and materials
• May lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

• 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale governance, risk, control, compliance, operational excellence, or business transformation initiatives
• Strong program and project leadership skills in a complex, matrixed organization
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior and executive leadership
• Ability to develop scalable automated/AI long-term solutions
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements and control optimization opportunities
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of enterprise control frameworks, operational risk management, and regulatory expectations
• Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple business groups and support functions
• Proven ability to balance business enablement with governance and risk management
• Willingness to work on-site at one of the stated locations
