We're thrilled to introduce an exciting new role within our Safety and Compliance Department  a privately owned organization headquartered in Gray, Louisiana, NVI is a renowned industry leader in nondestructive testing and post weld heat treatment. With close to five hundred full-time positions nationwide, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance while supporting our clients' needs across the country.

This role presents an opportunity to contribute to NVI's continued long-term growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible to administer the learning of all new hires of the Company’s Safety and Compliance programs;
  • Ensure all active and newly hired employees’ are completing safety training in accordance with NVI’s training program practices;
  • Administer the operator qualification training program to all craft technicians per DOT requirements;
  • Manage the Company filing network to store and track safety certifications of all employees;
  • Manage the Company’s safety management system networks like ISN, PEC/Veriforce, etc.;
  • Assist with updating safety procedures which meet OSHA’s General Industry Safety Standards;
  • Responsible to execute Drug and Alcohol administration in accordance with DOT regulations;
  • Assist with running reports for man hours and submitting these hours into applicable systems;
  • Any other assignments deemed necessary to assist the administrative department.
Required Qualification(s)
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D.
  • Successfully complete Company background and Drug/Alcohol programs.
Preferred Qualification & Experience
  • Associate or undergraduate education from an accredited university with a concentration in Safety, Health and Environment.
  • Experience in a similar position.
