(Job #559159) Administrator I, Title IX Investigator, CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,135 – $12,288 per month, Anticipated Hiring Range: $4,135 - $6,405 per month.
Final salary placement is commensurate with experience, internal equity, and budget considerations. This is a full‑time, benefited, exempt, 12‑month pay plan, at‑will position in the Title IX Department. This position is an Administrator I in the California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP). Under this plan, incumbents are subject to normal management reviews and serve at the pleasure of the University President.

Position SummaryUnder the general supervision of the Title IX Coordinator, the Title IX Investigator conducts well‑documented investigations as a neutral party into complaints filed by students, faculty, and staff that fall under the CSU’s Nondiscrimination Policy, and provides detailed, unbiased reports on findings of material facts relevant to investigation. Throughout the investigative process, the Investigator interfaces directly with parties and witnesses to a case, directing them to university resources and prioritizing the privacy of student concerns, policy compliance, and a trauma informed approach in all direct interactions.
The Investigator also oversees the development and delivery of Title IX and Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation (DHR) Prevention outreach and education presentations across campus and serves as a Hearing Coordinator when needed.
