SummaryThis position is primarily responsible for assisting the Project Superintendent and Project Management team with supervision of the field, labor, subcontractor, and materials management of assigned projects within the context of the company’s long‑term goals and values.

- Assist Superintendent with enforcement of job‑site safety management and reporting
- Assist Superintendent with job‑site/project quality control and quality assurance
- Assist with monitoring and managing project field labor and materials costs to meet or under run budgeted/planned costs
- Assist with leading or performing carpentry, layout, equipment operations, labor, and other such field labor tasks as appropriate to execute the work and maintain or improve the schedule of the project
- Regularly review job costs with the Superintendent and Project Management team and participate in monthly costs and completion projections exercises
- Manage on‑site company field personnel and subcontractors as directed
- Assist with coordination of the work of subcontractors and trades on the project
- Assist in schedule development and maintenance
- Have thorough knowledge of subcontract agreements and contract documents
- Manage equipment, including utilization, inspections, operator’s certifications, and records
- Produce all necessary reports including daily job reports, daily JSA sheets, incident and near‑miss reports as directed
- Complete project punch list within thirty (30) days
- Fill in as necessary to assist or serve as the Project Superintendent, as directed
- Mentor and develop field personnel
- Participate in any 3rd party OSHA site safety audits or inspections

This position will work at a construction jobsite, and most duties will be performed outside in the elements, which may include exposure to water, dust, dirt, grease, paint fumes, chemicals, and equipment noise and vibration.

- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods, walk, use hands and arms, talk, hear, bend, stretch, reach, kneel, squat, climb, and view a computer monitor and sit for extended periods.
- Lifting up to 50+lbs occurs frequently. This position will also utilize endurance and the ability to walk outdoors for extended periods, including stairs and elevated structures.
The work hours will be dictated by the requirements of each specific project.
